Neil Manani – Trade Mark Attorney
Neil studied History at Queen Mary, University of London and then decided to venture into law, studying the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bloomsbury. Neil found his calling in Intellectual Property Law and acquired a particular interest in Trade Mark Law. He has qualified as a Registered Trade Mark Attorney and specialises in advising clients on opposition proceedings and what strategies to adopt in other contentious matters. Neil completed the Queen Mary University of London Postgraduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice with a distinction and was subsequently awarded a commendation at the Nottingham Law School when completing the Professional Certificate in the Trade Mark Practice course. In his spare time, Neil enjoys physical exercise at the gym and relaxing with family and friends.

International trade mark attorney, patent practitioner, professional engineer and linguist. In practice since 1952 when, following a year of research in aeronautical and civil engineering and lecturing in electrical engineering, all at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, he entered the patent profession in Australia and continued in England from 1955 . Founded Trade Mark Consultants Co. in 1958. Commuted to Munich for 4 years in the 1970s where he joined a law firm in preparation for the opening of the European Patent Office. Author of ‘The Protection of Industrial Designs’ published by McGraw-Hill and contributor of a chapter in ‘Mainly on Patents’ published by Butterworths. Since 1977, has practised full time in London in Trade Mark, Patent, Design and Copyright law and ancillary disciplines.
